Lisa Greer has been a resident of South Miami Dade County nearly all her life, having grown up in Homestead, a product of a retired Air Force Master Sargeant and homemaker. She has 5 siblings. Lisa has been married to Karl Greer for 39 years; they live in the Redland and together they have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren whom they love dearly.
Lisa enjoyed her career in Banking for 42 years, having served the last 22 years with SouthState Bank in Homestead as a Commercial Loan Officer. As a Banker, Lisa enjoyed assisting business customers with their growth, taking leadership roles in the community, business development and providing business counselling. Her best moments in banking were learning about a variety of businesses and industries, watching them thrive and making many friends along the way. She retired from banking in 2024 yet continues volunteering for several civic and non-profit organizations in the following capacities:
Chairman, Economic Development Council of South Miami Dade, where she has served as a board member for the past 22 years. She was Chairman in 2006 and again became Chairman in 2020.
Secretary to the Board, South Dade Chamber of Commerce, where she has served as a board member for the past 6 years, during which time she served as Chairman in 2022.
President of the Board, Be Strong International, where she has served as board member since 2020 and became President of the Board in 2022
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading in the comfort of her back porch overlooking the beautiful agricultural fields and groves in the Redland, spending quality time with her husband and family, her 3 dogs and taking short vacations.
