ABOUT DANILO VARGAS

Danilo Vargas is the Small Business Innovation Manager in the Office of Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. Danilo has been tasked by the Mayor to build upon the successes of Accelerate South Dade and create innovative programs to serve the needs of budding entrepreneurs and small business owners, countywide.

He spearheads the Mayor’s Strive305 Small Business Initiative, designed to provide support services to all the small businesses in the county. These services include initiatives to improve access to capital, create a centralized information portal, develop a virtual small business school and incubator, build and connect a growing network of affordable, nonprofit physical incubators and entrepreneurship centers, and launch community-building events and accelerator programs.

Danilo is passionate about encouraging everyone to pursue entrepreneurship.

For over 15 years he’s had the pleasure of working with more than 1,000 small business owners throughout Miami-Dade and Latin America, including Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. 

When not busy helping entrepreneurs and small business owners, Danilo loves reading, writing, spending time with his family and going solo on cross-country motorcycle adventures.
