Nick Marano was appointed the Village Manager for Palmetto Bay in November 2020. Nick had previously been the City Manager in Carson City, NV and has private sector experience as the President of GTI, Nevada LLC.
Nick graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Finance. He served 28 years on active duty as an infantry officer in the Marine Corps and retired as a Colonel. An Iraq War veteran, Nick commanded a highly decorated infantry battalion in Anbar Province. Nick’s last position was the Commanding Officer of the Corps’ largest base, Camp Pendleton, CA.
